A new school year is well underway! We have been working throughout the summer on new content, functionality, and possibilities.
2018 will be a very exciting year for Creaza and all of our users. We have several new features and functionality coming in the near future, and the first ones are already in place.
Creaza is really looking forward to meeting many American teachers at the ISTE conference in San Antonio this week. ISTE is the largest education technology conference in the US. You will find us at booth 229 together with Oslo EdTech Cluster and Skooler.
Creaza is happy to announce that the brand new version of our Cartoonist tool is finally available for all users! Cartoonist enables students and teachers to easily create fantastic cartoons.
It contains 25 different themes and several hundred different backgrounds, characters and props. You can read more about the different themes here:

Creaza is very happy and proud to announce that a brand new version of our Cartoonist tool is right around the corner.
The new Cartoonist, which is fully HTML based, will provide users with all the possibilities that the current Cartoonist does:
- Choose from hundreds of Cartoonist activities
- Add backgrounds, characters, props, effects, shapes and text
- Use your own images as backgrounds
- Draw freehand
- Record audio
- Collaborate
The new version also includes several improvements and new features:
When students are making videos at school, these videos have a tendency to be a bit slow and not always too easy on the eyes. They could be drastically improved by following a few steps.
Instead of shooting the entire film in one take with little or no any planning, following a few steps can make both the planning, shooting and editing much more fun. And the finished product will be so much better and more enjoyable to watch.
From April 13 to 17 Creaza will be in Stockholm at the Scandinavian Educational Technology Transformation, or SETT, conference. SETT is Scandianavia’s largest conference for ICT and learning, and thousands of teachers, ICT coordinators, school leaders and politicians will be present.
Creaza has just released a new Cartoonist app for the iPad. The app has a brand new design, better performance, added functionality, and is more closely integrated with the web version of Creaza.
In Creaza we are working hard with some exciting news. In a few weeks our users will meet a brand new Mindomo (Mindmapping & Presentation tool) entirely HTML based with realtime collaboration features. We are also making a brand new Cartoonist App for the iPad that will work smooth with the new Creaza Portal and all the available exercises. A few weeks later our goal is to launch this app also for Android and Windows tablets.
