The learning technology event Bett is the global meeting place for the education technology community, bringing together 35,000 educators and learning professionals every January. This year the event will take place from January 22 to January 25 at Excel London.
The Danish government continues its mission to strengthen the country’s elementary and middle schools. In 2014 80 million DKK has been allocated for the purpose of purchasing interactive digital learning tools and content. This is all part of Denmark’s extensive committment to digital learning resources and to "Den Nye Folkeskole". In total, the scope of the initiative amounts to no less than 500 million DKK over a period of 5 years.
There are always lots of positive things happening in the creative world of Creaza. In the picture below, taken in a classroom at Veggli school in Norway, you can see 13 six-year-old students, each with their own PC.
The fall semester is in full swing, and most European countries have already concluded their fall breaks. Creaza has attended a wide range of conferences and held lots of workshops this fall, especially in the Nordic countries.
Vi på Creaza hoppas att ni haft en härlig start på läsåret. Hos oss i Creaza har det varit fullt upp och vi har hunnit möta många kommuner och lärare redan. Framöver i höst hoppas vi att möta ännu fler då vi kommer att delta på en rad mässor i norden. Nedan finner ni en liten lista över vilka konferenser som vi finns med på. Vi startar redan nästa vecka med Framtidens läromedel i Uppsala.

Creaza önskar alla elever och lärare välkomna tillbaka till ett nytt spännande läsår och en ny härlig hösttermin! Vi hoppas att ert sommarlov har varit skönt och att ni haft möjlighet att ladda upp batterierna. Creazas första halvår 2013 var mycket spännande, innehållsrikt och hektiskt. Stora delar av halvåret har vi varit på resande fot, bland annat på konferenser som BETT i London, SETT, Framtidens lärande i Stockholm och NKUL i Trondheim.
Creaza ønsker alle elever og lærere tilbake til et nytt semester! Vi håper sommerferien har vært flott, og at alle har hatt tid til å lade batteriene! Det første halvåret i 2013 har vært svært spennende, innholdsrikt og hektisk for Creaza. We have some great news for all Danish students and teachers: All municipalities and public schools in Denmark are eligible to get grants from the government for the sake of purchasing certain approved digital learning resources from Materialeplatformen. We are very happy to announce that Creaza is one of these resources, this year as well as last year. This means that schools that purchase Creaza will be able to get half of the cost covered by the Danish government.
